Question 1

Are consultations and estimates free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. WELLHELD offers a complimentary initial consultation to understand your needs and discuss suitable options. Service estimates are provided without obligation once we have enough information about the work involved. Specialist appraisals and other third-party services may have separate fees, which will be discussed before proceeding.

Question 2

How is WELLHELD paid?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the work. House-clearing and coordination services are quoted separately from any auction or consignment commissions, which are set by the specialist provider handling the sale. Everything is agreed in writing before work begins.

Question 3

Can you tell me what something is worth?

Accepted Answer

We can help you understand whether something may merit a closer look. Formal valuations and certified appraisals are performed by qualified independent professionals, and we can introduce you to one.

Question 4

Do I have to decide everything at once?

Accepted Answer

No. Your decisions remain yours, and nothing leaves the home without your approval. Many clients start with a single conversation before choosing a next step.

Question 5

Who authorizes work on an estate?

Accepted Answer

We work with the person who has authority to make decisions — typically the owner, an executor or an authorized representative. We may ask for confirmation before proceeding.

Question 6

Can you help with just one item?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Whether it's a single piece or an entire property, you'll be guided to a path that suits the size of what you need.

Question 7

What happens to things that don't sell?

Accepted Answer

We discuss the options with you — keeping, donating, recycling or responsible removal — and coordinate whatever you approve.

Question 8

How soon can you start?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the scope and our current schedule. We'll tell you honestly what's possible when we speak.

Question 9

Is my information kept private?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Inquiries and photographs are stored privately and seen only by our team. Addresses and belongings are never published.

Question 10

Do you handle firearms or other regulated items?

Accepted Answer

Regulated categories are reviewed individually and handled only through legally authorized processes and professionals. We never arrange their sale or transfer automatically.

Question 11

Do you give legal or tax advice?

Accepted Answer

No. We coordinate practical matters and work alongside your attorney, accountant or other advisors.

Plainly answered.
